1. About these terms

These terms govern all bookings, quotes and services provided by Melbourne Executive Rides. By requesting a quote or making a booking, you agree to these terms.

2. Bookings and quotes

Fare estimates displayed on our website are guaranteed for standard point-to-point trips at the entered date, time and addresses. Trips with multiple stops, waiting time beyond the included allowance, or route changes on the day may be re-quoted and confirmed by us before charging.

A booking is confirmed only once we send you a written confirmation (email or SMS). Requests submitted through the website are treated as a booking request until confirmed.

3. Pricing and inclusions

• Prices are quoted in Australian dollars and are GST inclusive.
• Tolls are included in the quoted fare.
• The chauffeur includes a 10-minute complimentary wait; additional waiting time is charged at $1.60 per minute.
• Airport pickup fees apply where relevant (Melbourne $10, Avalon $8).
• A 20% surcharge applies on Victorian public holidays.
• Return bookings receive a 20% discount on the eligible return leg when both legs are booked together.

4. Cancellations and changes

• Cancellations more than 12 hours before pickup: no fee.
• Cancellations within 12 hours of pickup: up to 50% of the fare may be charged.
• No-shows or cancellations after the chauffeur has been dispatched: full fare payable.
• Changes to time, pickup or drop-off must be requested as early as possible and are subject to availability.

5. Passenger conduct

Seatbelts are compulsory. Smoking and vaping are not permitted in our vehicles. Passengers are responsible for cleaning fees if the vehicle is soiled during the trip. The chauffeur may refuse or end service where safety or lawful conduct is at risk.

6. Luggage and vehicles

Please book a vehicle appropriate to your passenger and luggage count. Capacity guidance is provided on the booking page. Oversized items should be flagged in advance; we may need to reassign to a larger vehicle at the applicable fare.

7. Delays and force majeure

We monitor flights and traffic and will do everything reasonable to arrive on time. We are not liable for delays or missed connections caused by circumstances beyond our control, including traffic incidents, weather, road closures, protests or emergencies.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to a booking is limited to the fare paid for that booking. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
